About the artist:

     Nick, who is of Mexican, Italian, & Irish decent, currently resides in Los Angeles, CA and is a full time illustrator and painter. He is also co-owner and head artist for the indie streetwear line called Substance 80.

     Nick got his first large scale exposure doing backdrops and posters for raves, concerts, & club events in the mid-nineties. His work has been featured in various magazines, blogs, album covers, and galleries throughout the country and overseas.

       He says his art is heavily influenced by 80's new wave culture, comic books, b-horror trash, nightlife experiences, spirituality, and his 'colorful' childhood. Above all things, he sites 'music' as his main inspiration source.

      Here he presents a special line of pin-ups made specifically for Queer Trash.  Using his signature bright colors and bold black lines Nick is repping the livelyness and energy found in queer culture in his own special way.  We're sure you'll enjoy them as much as we do.
